Light and Precise

The model has extremely light wing loading in the range of 14 ounces per square foot! The light weight coupled, generous wing area, and extremely rigid construction make it a razor sharp performer in the 3D arena. This is the kind of model that get taken out every weekend; it's just that much fun to fly! The wings of SU-31 are joined by a large-diameter carbon tube, and removable in a matter of a few seconds for easy transport to the field, and for storage at home.

Bigger flies better, and this larger 3D model is also very easy to see at a distance. That sharpens the maneuvers of any pilot, and is especially helpful if your eyes aren't "what they used to be". Contrasting stripes on wing bottom really help with orientation...
