The Hyperion YAK-55SP "10e" is perhaps the most faithfully scale small aerobatic model today.
Constructed of hand-picked light balsa and ply, the fuselage, wing, and tail
group carefully follow the lines of the full-size Russian aerobat. The hand
painted fiberglass cowl is simply... a work of art: YAK55 louvers are molded in,
and the paint and striping are a perfect color match to the model covering. The
pre-painted super-clear canopy is already mounted on a wood frame, with
neodymium magnets installed for retention to the fuselage (sorry, nothing for
you to do here either!).
